About Us

The Story of Dragon Lair FoundationEvery great movement begins with a spark. For me, that spark came from two places: a lifelong journey in Lean Leadership and a passion for teaching the next generation.For over 30 years, I’ve worked in organizations of all sizes, helping leaders build cultures of courage, respect, and continuous improvement. For the past 20+ years, I’ve taught these principles—watching individuals transform as they shifted from managing tasks to truly leading people. What inspires me most is not the tools or processes, but the growth I’ve witnessed in people when they discover the leader within themselves.But Dragon Lair didn’t start in a boardroom. It started on the soccer field.I began by coaching youth girls’ soccer, where we didn’t just teach the game—we taught life lessons: teamwork, resilience, respect, and the fire to keep going when things get tough. On that field, I saw young women not only sharpen their skills but grow in confidence and character. That experience planted the seed for something bigger: a place where people of all ages could ignite their own fire and become stronger leaders.That’s how the Dragon Lair Foundation was born.The Dragon symbolizes strength, wisdom, and transformation—the essence of true leadership. The Lair is the safe haven where leaders come to sharpen their skills, reflect, and prepare for the challenges ahead. With over 20 years in Lean Leadership and more than 20 years teaching, Daniel has guided leaders across industries to shift from command-and-control to coach-and-empower. Inspired by early work coaching youth girls’ soccer, Daniel saw how teaching resilience, respect, and teamwork on the field could change lives—and built Dragon Lair Foundation as a place to pass those lessons on to leaders everywhere.

Module 3 – Leading Teams Through Change
